System Memory Overview

The motherboard comes with four Double Data Rate 4 (DDR4) Dual Inline Memory Modules (DIMM) sockets. A DDR4 module has the same physical dimensions as a DDR3 DIMM but is notched differently to prevent installation on a DDR3 DIMM socket. DDR4 modules are developed for better performance.

  • According to the Intel CPU specifications, DIMM voltage below 1.35 V is recommended to protect the processor.
