Spirit Q370-AS Disposal Manual
The Northern Micro Spirit Q370-AS computer is easily disassembled. Please refer to the section of the User Guide entitled “Removing the Case Cover”. The case cover is made of metal.
Inside the computer are several components:
- Power Supply. Please see the section of the User Guide entitled “Power Supply Removal”. It contains printed circuit boards. The included external NEMA 5-15P to C13 power cable plugs into this power supply.
- The motherboard is a printed circuit board and is screwed to the chassis with eight screws. Please see the section of the User Guide entitled “Motherboard Installation and Removal”. On the motherboard is a Lithium CMOS Battery (CR2032) that is easily removed by following the steps in the User Guide entitled “Replacing CMOS Battery”. It is located on the motherboard indicated by the word “Battery” in the diagram below. The battery requires selective treatment under EPEAT Criterion 4.3.1.1.
Items which we have attached to the motherboard are:
- Please see the section of the User Guide entitled “Removing System Memory”. The RAM modules are printed circuit boards and are located in the slots numbered 5 in the diagram below.
- Please see the section of the User Guide entitled “Installing / Removal of a CPU Heatsink & Fan”. The processor is located in the socket numbered 4 in the diagram below.
- 2 Storage. Please see the section of the User Guide entitled “Hard Drive Removal / Installation”. The storage is a printed circuit board and is located in either or both of the slots numbered 3 in the diagram below.
